The green and blue kneecap warmer is based on patterns from Weldon's Practical Knitter and the one in this link: (
http://www.geocities.com/vintageconnection/VintageConnection--KNITKneeWarmers.html It was knit on 4.50mm wooden needles in Nature Spun Worsted wool. The original pattern is from Peterson's Magazine, May, 1868.
The Gentleman's Underdrawers are half-finished. One side is complete with the button band. The other half and the gusset are on 4.50mm wooden needles. The wool is Nature Spun Worsted and the choice of colours are those suggested in the original Weldon's Practical Knitter pattern.
